Keeping with the changes
We have had a little break in the whole assigments thing this week with the revelation that our video assignment will be more long term than originaly expected. It will be finishing up in march of next year and i have to make and edit my own film. I am considering working on a documentary about our entry for the Imagine cup. It would be left unfinished though because we are going to win and that means filming cant finish untill May. I think i need to rethink this concept.
However this does leave me with a surprisingly free week and i have decided to use this to work some kinks out of this site.
I have had to scrap the black and blue site because it was full to the scut with bugs that i just didn’t have the time to really work through so now i am just trying to go through some other themes and styles and see what fits. If i find one i like then i can just run with that and stick any features like the flickr badge and gamertag info in after. Its hard to look for something that stands out though. Gotta get the exterior features like the Photo site and document/emails up and running too. I think i may just find myself quite busy this week too.
On the imagine cup front we went to an event in Trinity this Monday and saw what we have to aim for but i am feeling quietly optimistic that we can at least get to th second round and if all the ideas for the game work out I think we may be able to get to Paris. At worst its a start on the old portfolio of projects.
So that about wraps it up for now, I have to get back to feature testing this site
